Besides The Beauty Trilogy (a. rolequaire), I believe this is the 1st REAL BDSM romance I've read. I rated this 4 stars for the following reasons: There was an actual plot, Viv was a strong heroine...not the normal "abused/looking for therapy thru a dom", Tyler had flaws (gasp!), and I really enjoyed the realism of trying to make a relationship work. I did feel like the sex scenes (bdsm) were a bit intense, but that just made the sex sizzling HOT! ...more
