Shelves: fiction, funny

Funny and hip. The ending was a little cheesy and it did what I hate when it sets something up that seems so great and then, oh hey it didn't work out but whatever. It was a great read though, and I was happy that I liked something everyone else has raved about. It makes me feel more connected to other readers when that happens. ...more

This book rang all my bells: books, old bookstores with intriguing employees, technical nerds and a mysterious conundrum. A very quick read that didn't feel too challenging, though the end did surprise me in a 'follow the yellow brick road/we've been able to go home anytime we wanted to/we've been home the whole time' kind of way. ...more
