For some reason I never got to this book in middle school, but since it's being turned into a movie I wanted to make sure I read it before then. I have always hated the cover and that's why I didn't read it when I was 12. I hate the cover. But whatever, don't judge... The story is fine though the second part felt rushed. I'm an optimist when it comes to the interpretation of the ending. Wish I had read this when I was younger.

This is your typical utopian book set in the future. I found it to be an easy and quick read. The only thing I didn't like is the characters, who to me were underdeveloped and this made it harder to like them.

I remember trying to listen to this on tape when I was little...didn't work, so years later I sucked it up and got the book from the library. I wasn't entranced by it. It was good, I read it in an hour and a half. I would have absolutely loved it when I was a kid though.
