Shelves: favorites, audio, audible, thriller, spooky, recommendation

I finally had the time to read this book and did so via audio - it was so riveting. The only downside was that I couldn't listen to it straight through and took so many breaks between sessions. Jumping between the past and present stories, then somehow tying it all together, was a suspenseful feat and Simone St. James accomplished it. And I definitely couldn't listen to this at night! Exactly my favorite kind of ghost story :) Plus add in the mystery, drama and plot twists. It was one of my favo ...more

Interesting and enjoyable mystery. The narrator of the audiobook was the same as the last one I listened to where the main character was a young female journalist so I kept getting confused. But all in all, compelling storytelling.
