Addie LaRue was mesmerizingly lyrical, and so hard to put down.

It's 1714, a 23-year-old girl seals a deal with a god, in order to escape a loveless marriage and a life of mediocrity. Honestly, the older you get, the more these questions plague your mind, the more they may trigger those storms within. The description of Henry's panic...spot on...and the life of Addie LaRue...anything but invisible more like indelible...I forget a lot of plots of books I've read... it's too much to contain...I won't for this one. I remem ...more
