An interesting gothic supernatural novel. I enjoyed the characters, and I enjoyed the plot line, but for me, the problem was that everything was too long. There were a great many characters to try and keep track of, and they were all going in different directions for their own side stories, but the side stories were so long that, when it would cut back to a previous character, I had a hard time remembering where they were and what they were doing.
