I love the cover of this book, I am after all a sucker for red shoes. It is a very look at me, pick me up and read me cover. Well atleast that's what it says to me.
So I picked it up and read it, well first I had to request it to be sent from another library as mine had "lost" it's copy. Meaning someone enjoyed the book and didn't want to share it.
On to the book itself.

This reimagining of Cinderella is inspired! Set in a post WWIV world, in China, we meet Cinder, a cyborg, toiling away as a mechanic for her discriminating aunt and stepsisters, one of whom she adores. A plague rages across the globe as the remaining six major nations

This is not a book I would ordinarily read. I am not a fan of science fiction or YA books.
But I needed a book based on a fairy tale and this was highly recommended.
I was pleasantly surprised that it was a very good book. It did take a few chapters to get past the whole future world robot Cinderella and into the meat of the story. That was the part that really intrigued me - the political maneuvering between Earth and the Moon. I also liked the twists on the ball, the slipper, the pumpkin coach ...more
