So...hmm...okay....

This book, this book. When I first opened the pages I got so extremely excited for it. And I knew right away I was going to very enjoy it.

As we continued on I had to pause at many many different moments, pausing to reflect on the words I just read, pausing to soak it all in, pausing to smile.

But then something happened, something wasn't the same. My feelings of "oh I so need to pick up my own copy" (as this is a library book) started to subside. Don't get me wrong I still to

A coming of age book written with such sensitivity with a great understanding of a teen mind. It kept me reading page after page and was astonished by the power of the writing!

Let me start by saying that I love Rainbow Rowell, but this book left me conflicted. Everyone has been raving about this book for so long, so I really expected to fall in love with it. I didn't.. I didn't hate it either, but I just couldn't connect. And that ending didn't do it for me. (view spoiler)

A sweet, quirky book. I really liked Eleanor and Park a lot.
There were so many layers to this book that kept it from being a typical YA love story. I loved how the author used Romeo and Juliet as a running theme.

This counts as a book set in high school for the 2015 PopSugar Reading Challenge.
