What Members Thought
Really liked it, a very different urban fantasy.
The Jinni and Golem were good characters. I was also pleased that characters I thought very important turned out not to be, and those who I thought minor turned out to be the major players. Surprise is good.
I just wished the buildup was a little bit faster, specially on the more daily and mundane parts. It does feel it could have used some pace there. But overall it paid off.

Upon rereading it: Still so beautiful and engaging. A definite 5-star book.

Um romance misturado com fantasia.
Não pense em grandes aventuras, mas em uma intrincada história em que se mescla o passado e o presente, até o desfecho.
Comecei a ler três vezes, até que entendi que não era um livro de ação, mas um marasmo em que a ação concentra-se nos capítulos finais.

uma leitura muita agradável pelas culturas judaicas e árabes! mas eu esperava mais do final, foi um pouco decepcionante! Mas leitura recomendada!
