'Evil's Embrace' is the second book in L.M. Somerton's series, 'Investigating Love'. After the action-packed and exciting ending to the first book, where Alex saved Conor from the serial killer known as Rasputin, I was looking forward to jumping into more adventures with these two police officers. Somehow, before I even started reading, I knew the author would take me on another wild ride.

I always enjoy LM Somerton's novels, but I now have a new favorite. Evil's Embrace is, IMO, her best one yet.
We were introduced to Alex and Conor in Rasputin’s Kiss and experienced their lust-at-first-sight mutual attraction. In Evil's Embrace we see them deepen their relationship as they continue to learn about each other.
