2.5*
I do enjoy historical romances generally and I am not going to check out all facts (I did check out Capt Nicols though) so I enjoyed a quick look at pre Victorian London with slops in the street, print works etc.

Wonderful book!
Usually I'm not a fan of historical, but I'm happy I gave this one a chance, because it's real good!
Samuel's sweet and creative and just a really good guy, you'd love him from the start. It took me a bit more to warm up to Jude, because while I'd instantly liked him I was kinda disappointed with the whole thing with miss Swanson, but later on Jude redeemed himself and I started liking him again :)
Highly recommended even if you're not a historical romance fan! ...more
