Let’s first start with the fact that when this book caught my eye and I wanted to read it. I had no clue it was from a series.After reading it I found that it could be read as a stand alone as there is just some minor references to the characters from the first three stories.

LOVED this story!!!!
I've beenimpatiently waiting for the new book from mr. Bowie all summer! I'm a big fan of his writing and Ride'Em is one of my favorite series, I love me some cowboys ;) So this story was just perfect for me: hot and heartwarming and hopefull and I'm happy to get a glimpse of the guys from the previous books, love them! ))

i hadn't realised this was part of a series until after I finished - it is easy to read as a standalone but now I know, it is obvious to see who the other books were written about!
Brett is running his small ranch single handed. Josh answers an ad for help whilst trying to make a fresh start.
They soon act on their attractions - a lot!
Whilst not a short story, it does pack a lot in but I think more build up for Josh would have cemented me more firmly in his corner. And I liked Brett's potty m ...more
