Beautiful and sinister are the two words that keep coming to mind as I read on through this bloody and bold vampire tale. Beautiful for the underlying bonds of friendship and simple love. Sinister for countless nasty villains and hooligans as I was forced into their sick heads.
But, I must say it was a mesmerizing unforgettable tale and a must read for horror fans. I was flung on the edge of my reading chair throughout with a never ending sense of anticipation to see the evil get their "just des ...more

I loved this book. The characters were engrossing, the story was hard to pull away from.
The depth of feeling and involvement with everything that was occurring, was amazing.
I think that there was something in this story that could touch just about everyone...
I highly recommend this book to Adults-YA who like to read Vampire/Horror. The scenes from the movie look good, I am sorry that 'Eli' was not cast as she is described visually so, the girl MUST be a terrific actress... ...more

Creepy and yet very well written. I am not a big fan of the Sweeish version of the film because it made it even more creepy and left out the greatness of it all. But overall I did enjoy it.
