Donnell Bell certainly knows how to keep the reader entranced in the story. I loved it from the first page until the last. I couldn't put it down. The author's voice is smooth, her plot is solid, and her characters are well developed. From the moment I was introduced to Dancer (Oh my!) I fell in love with him. But I can't leave out his partner Sal, who I adored from his witty sense of humor to his honest feedback to Dancer to keep his partner in line. I've read The Past Came Hunting by Donnell,
