Ash Princess is, while enjoyable enough, really typical YA fantasy. There's nothing terrible about it, but nothing outstanding either. Tohle si musíte přečíst.
Jasně, je to YA fantasy, má to svoje chyby, ale pro mě nebyly důležité ve srovnání se vším ostatním.
Miluju hlavní hrdinku, která je zlomená a mučená a trochu šílená, ale stejně se pořád snaží chránit sebe a svůj lid. Splétá intriky a radši používá mozek, než magii. Kromě toho se celý napínavý příběh odehrává ve výborně vestavěném světě se širokou problematikou. Zajímavé postavy, poměrně uzavřený konec a krásné citáty v rámci čtivé knihy. Co víc si přát? :)

Jasně, je to YA fantasy, má to svoje chyby, ale pro mě nebyly důležité ve srovnání se vším ostatním.

Ash Princess je takový mix Rudé královny, Skleněného trůnu a dalších... Vlastně nepřináší nic nového. Je to takový lepší průměr. Celkem mě to bavilo, hlavně části s magickými šutry, která je asi nejzajímavější. Čtivé to taky je. Jen ten milostný trojúhelník... nah. Fandím Sorenovi.

Ak by Red Queen a Throne of Glass mali dieťa volalo by sa Ash Princess. To, čo všetci na tom odsúdili, tie podobnosti, boli u mňa dôvody, prečo sa mi to tak páčilo. Jednoducho som dostala čokoládový koláč a na to mi vyliali ešte ďalšiu porciu extra horkej čokolády... ehm, v preklade, som z tejto knižky šťastná ako blcha (a asi som aj hladná). :D

Princezna popela je sice kombinací několika YA fantasy knížek, ale kupodivu mě to docela bavilo. Dobře se to te, příběh příjemně ubíhá, nejsou tam žádné větší prázdná místa, hlavní hrdinka taky není nejhorší. Vytáčel mě akorát ten milostný trojúhelník, ale tak to se u YA dá čekat. Jsem docela zvědavá, jak to bude pokračovat, snad to druhý díl nepokazí.

Ok, it's nothing THAT original as everybody says, but it is entertaining.
I really enjoyed the whole concept, the only thing I didn't like was the 'love triangle'. I mean no Love is happening, but it's still a triangle. I prefer the Theo/Soren part of it, but I still find it a bit lacking. I mean, why did he fall in love with her?! They barely spoke! He didn't have the time to fall in love with her. Blaise was just Blaise... Nothing special about him... He's a good friend in my point of ...more
