It was good - I enjoyed it and I loved the world Cinda created. BUT, still, there were some weird parts, plus I didn't really feel as if there was much going on in this book, no real action. But I'm definitely gonna read the next one.

Reading this several years later, I enjoyed this more than I did back then. Probably also because my level of English is better than it was then, so I had no problem with the language and it was much more comfortable read. Up one star in ra ...more

Not really full 4 stars for me.
I really liked the book, but it felt quite slow for me even with all that politics and world-building. World-building is awesome in this series. I'm not kidding. I love it!
I also love our main characters, but would survive without all those Raisa's romances. :D I mean it's pretty much accurate, after all she's just a 15-year-old and you know... hormones. :D ...more
