What Members Thought

I have finally, after almost 2 years of torture completed this book. How this received all the accolades and awards it did is beyond me, because it was so disjointed, jumped all over the place, and did not get to the crux of the story till the last third of the book. I really have to get better at being able to quit books that suck, but I guess I have book-FOMO, which forces me to finish them no matter what.

Nope. Tried to read this one and made it to page 38. Just not my style and didn't catch my interest.

Better the second time
I read this several years ago and was, at best, lukewarm about it. My friend, Donna, thought that, at the time at least,it was perhaps the best book she had ever read. I picked it up again as an audiobook and liked it better. The author certainly does have an amazing way with words! It is a story I will think about for a long time.
