Read really well up until Alice changing her story. Then the timelines and characters get muddy for me; then her return and the ending didn’t make sense to me at all. I’ll have to read some fan theories to get an understanding of WTH happened in the end.

First half fantastic. Five stars. Slowly rising suspense and creepiness.

Second half was a girl battling monsters. Stereotypical. Boring.
