First time in my 46 years of reading I could not soldier through and finish a book, and I don't even feel bad about it. Admittedly , I'm not a fan of mystery, but cheese and rice, I couldn't even get past page 25. I can't even commit to adding it to the growing pile of DNFs that I will finish one day, but got away from me due to other books or time commitments. Sorry Sherlock fans, this was just an epic fail for me. I can't even attempt to give it one star...can I give it zero stars?

More balanced towards Watson then towards Holmes. Balance is a delicate thing.
Also Watson writing in hindsight, bringing a poignancy and a closing to the adventures of him and Sherlock Holmes. A little sadness imbuing the entire book.
But still amazing Sherlock putting together seemingly unrelated facts to solve not one, not two, but three different mysteries.
I think I know him well enough now to call him by his nickname, Holmesy.
