I believe before picking this up I saw the author describe it as "Sex in the City" if all four of them fell down dead and got back up again. It did deliver that with a touch of mystery in it as well. Not really CSI type material. Probably more like having "Carrie" decide she was Miss Marples or something. Just a bit more bumbling.

I read about the first 60 pages but couldn't really get into it. The characters were just too shallow and narcissistic. That's actually not a knock on the author because I absolutely believe there's a wide audience interested in that kind of thing (think Sex and the City only more shallow and self-absorbed)- - I just happen to not be a part of it. I have a feeling the book has some witty moments, I'm just not interested enough to stick around to read them.
