Mike is a badass. The only drawback of that is that he kinda knows it and sometimes I just roll my eyes at the guy.

Not as fresh as the first one. This one was a little all over the place. Plus the rules changed from the first one. Suddenly we have different zombies and a whole new creature. Still entertaining and once I adjusted to this not being just a zombie novel it was still enjoyable.

Mark does an awesome job telling a great story with great characterization. He doesn't paint much of a scene, but makes up for it with unforgettable characters.

Quirky Humor - Zombies - Lots of Gore and Running and Gunning - Tommy and Eliza - it all adds up to a fun read that is great zombie action with a twist.
