What happened with this one? Really liked the first in the series, loved the second. It feels as if someone else wrote the latter half of the book, the story taking a turn for the ridiculous. Also, in the latter part of the book, the author (a former police officer, I believe?) refers to AR-15s as "guns" and M-16s as "machine guns"? Joe Mckinney is turning into a force to be reckoned with. I read Dead City a year or so ago, and liked it, then recently found out he had 2 more zombie books!

Looking forward to starting Apocalypse, and in fact, anything else he publishes.

Not so patiently waiting ...more

The best of his three by far. It just flowed well. My only gripe was in the crossing of paths of the main characters near the end. It was difficult for me to terminate my investment in some. Well worth a read, especially if you like his earlier two works. More.
