* While I was given a copy of this book for free to read, that in no way influenced my opinion or my review in any way.

When this book first began I felt like I was reading a YA novel. The storyline and style of writing came across as clear, but fairly simply written. However as the story progressed it felt like the author grew too and the storyline grew in complexity and depth.
Odium is a unique tale of zombies in many aspects. Right from the beginning when Nina chooses to leave what appears to b

HOLY FREAKING ZOMBIES! This book is amazeballs with all it's zombie gore and humans turning on humans... And finally a book that isn't only focused on the romance part of it and instead builds it and manages to add up some pretty disgusting situations in the middle. Action packed and full of characters that will drive you nuts.... Ladies and Gentleman: ODIUM by Claire C Riley.

It got a lot better about halfway through. I liked it enough to continue on to the next one for sure.

Odium written by author Claire C. Riley tells the story of a woman and likeable character named Nina living in a walled in a city as to protect it's citizens from zombies, here called Deaders.
I actually liked Odium and it's characters as the story progressed.
Overall I considered this an interesting, unique zombie novel and well worth the five stars I'm rating it.
