What Members Thought
So far, this book is very disappointing. The main heroin's personality does NOT match her supposed history. It's one thing to have an underdog character with some spunk, but it's another altogether to completely erase any kind of effect that her abusive past should have had on her. If she really had spent the last few years being beaten for reading or sassing her master, she should be at least somewhat afraid to do those things, not just running off and doing "whatever" whenever the fancy strike
