What Members Thought
It absolutely kills me how transphobic the ending is and how it comes out of nowhere. This could have been handled so much better BUT it shouldn't have been included in the first place. There are ways to connect race and gender with passing, appearances, perceptions, etc. without perpetuating such harmful myths and stereotypes. A fascinating, beautiful story that just turns rotten.
