If you consider your reading habits to be more "highbrow," you may struggle with reading this bestseller. While it may not be the most literary book I've ever read, you will most likely find yourself instantly sucked into the story, and your concerns of highbrow vs. lowbrow will go right out of the window. If you are looking for a pleasure read with a fast-paced plot, this book (and the entire series) is the book for you. Note: if you are a bit squeamish, you may want to steer clear. This book is dark and does contain what the MPAA might euphemistically label as "mature situations".
