This was a pretty good ghost story.

It had some creepy moments.

I would have really loved it reading it in my younger days.

I don't have children, but I imagined reading this along with my daughter (if I had a daughter).

Wait Till Helen Comes by Mary Downing Hahn is a ghost story written for younger readers (MG). A creepy plot, moody scenery, and ridiculously self-absorbed parents make this interesting My 9 year old found its scary bits titillating, while his older sister enjoyed the ideas of forgiveness and family.

This is a great mystery/ghost story for pre-teens. It is well-written and very entertaining. There are two siblings, Molly and Michael, who are coping with their mother's remarriage and relocation to a rural area. To add to their distress, they have a new stepsister, Heather, who is mean and cruel and never misses the opportunity to get them in trouble by manipulating her father. I can understand why this book has a graphic novel. It was really good, turns out you will do horrible things when ur lonely. I loved the ending so heartfelt.
