What Members Thought

Warm Bodies was a really well written and sculpted piece of work. I adored the zombie “R” and thought his musings and best friend were humorous, vivid and engaging. Precisely descriptive, Julie seems to be like a dream to him. For those of you who think it’s going to be too weird or all too much, I say it’s a rather like Edward Scissor hands. As I am a person that gets VERY annoyed about a movie when I read the book first - just ask my kids - I waited and waited for Warm Bodies to come out before I started the book.
As always the book was meatier, more detailed then the movie. But I was suprised to find I loved the "light and comedic" nature of the movie best. Not that the book was bad, but it was very serious. But I liked it. It was kinda making you "think the other way". I would say read it ...more
