I really loved the first Matt Archer book, so I was a little nervous to pick up the next book for fear that Matt wouldn't live up to my expectations. But I didn't have to worry, because this book was just awesome. It really delves deeper into Matt's relationships with his family and friends, and made the tension and stakes higher than ever. Blade's Edge is the sequel to Matt Archer: Monster Hunter, in which Matt discovered that monsters are real and attacking humanity. In the first book, they kept mostly to individuals, so the public is still unaware of the threat. In Blade's Edge, the attacks have gotten bolder; the team is responding to rumors of zombies and entire villages d
