Lauren Oliver is also amazing at writing short stories.
This one, about Lena's mom, travels in time just like Pandemonium, from then to now. It helped me understand a lot of things about Annabel, her reason, what drove her, and how she did it.
If you are a Delirium fan, you should definitely read this. Although I wish it was longer because I have so many more questions. I wonder about her life after she escaped, how she made it to the top of the resistance, etc. ...more

Annabel is Lena's mother.
We learn in Delirium that Lena thinks her mother is dead, but we later find out that she is actually in the Crypts.
Throughout this short story, we learn pieces of Annabel's past. Because of that, we learn just how much she loves her daughters, and her late husband.
