Definitely, this book is worth your time. It's fun, it's got an original premise, and the first half of the story is really well done. The second half has space aliens and nifty military battles, and the whole thing is written with charm and humor.

I really loved this. The first half made me laugh out loud and get funny looks and the second half is all adventure. Very creative, great universe/world-building, loved the use of technology and the way it was explained. The whole thing really reminded me of the best parts of Starship Troopers (the movie, haven't read the book yet).

Builds nicely. Strong ending.
The concepts and characters were interesting, and the writing was very clean. I enjoyed this futuristic novel greatly.
