[close] Excellent post-apocalyptic fiction. Tribesmen in a ravaged England struggle to recover the mysteries of the past from tangled shreds of myth. Entire novel is written in post-apocalyptic English dialect, which while initially challenging comes to provide some crazy insights and allows for some really wierd wordplay... awesome stuff

A Tale of Mystery and Melodrama, set thousands of years in the future that doesn't look so different from the past. If you can get past the language barrier- an entirely new dialect was created for this story, complete with idiom and grammar - there's a whole lot going on here. ...more
