[close] The Concluding chapter of the series. Everything has been building up to this, and what a ending it was. Merphy's Law has been kicked into effect time's ten, I won't say if our heroes makes it out in the end or not. I'll only add that the ending was a payoff that I found to be satisfying, yet bittersweet. There was a bit of dialogue near the end that I found to be a bit two wordy for my taste, but a minor complaint.

Shelves: zombies, horror

A lackluster end to the series I thought. Some huuuge questions were left unanswered--the one I was most intrigued about and was teased for several of the books and then left unmentioned was the fate of all the pregnant zombies. Are their offspring the hunters? But the hunters seemed to happen pretty early on where that doesn't make sense. Was disappointed that was never finished off.
