What if the truth was built on lies?
Absolutely loved this book and I do love this writer who writes dark and thought provoking dystopian novels. 4.6 so five stars. I read some of the criticism on details of the storyline, but h*ll, loved it from start to finish. Weird and out of this world. Could this happen? As usual more to follow but I do recommend this out of the box book.

A fascinating and timely piece of speculative fiction, this book takes place in a near-future where civilization is based on the truth, with no room for fiction or disagreement. Despite this, it almost falls into the unreliable narrator genre (you’ll see). It’s plotted like a thriller and had lots of unexpected twists and turns. This past month I've read two novels that could be put in its own category of Trumpian (or Brexitish) Literature. (Empty Hearts being the other for those curious.) I didn't intentionally plan this or anything but it got me thinking how interesting it will be to look back at this period of literature in like 10 years time.

I enjoyed this book. The premise was interesting. I felt like things could have been fleshed out a little better in places, but the book was well worth reading. 3 1/2 stars
