What Members Thought
Totally plot driven. The characters were not fleshed out and real enough for me to become attached to. The concept was interesting and I became engrossed in about the last quarter of the book. Wish that had happened sooner.
Read this for couple's book club. That's right the "book club" my boyfriend and I have together (adorable or vomit inducing?).

Maze runner
This is an interesting candy flipped lord of the flies type story with supernatural and sci fi elements added. The story is told from the perspective of a teenage boy who has just entered a world ruled only by teenage boys. So right off the bat you along with the main character are trying to figure out what's up with this new world you have entered. This is a very drawing writing technique that slowly answers some of the questions but like the books tittle will lead you through many ...more

I would actually give this a 3.5 star review I liked it better than a 3. I didn't give it a 4 only because I found there was something missing...maybe a little more depth between characters?? I found everything kind of happened fast and I felt the connection that is needed to make me believe the characters a bit more was lacking. But that aside I really enjoyed the book and look forward to reading the next one in the series
