A small crew on an isolated oil refinery in the middle of the Arctic nowhere watches the world end from a mysterious disease on their televisions. The world stops broadcasting. The resupply ship never makes it, and supplies won't last the arctic winter. That's the least of these people's problems.

This is one of the best zombie novels I've read since World War Z. The author definitely seems to have "found his voice" and his writing style is a pleasure to read - it's not bombastic or convoluted; I'm sure many readers would call it a page-turner. There is maybe a *touch* too much nerd revenge if there can be too much of such a thing.
