Allison Hewitt gets my bestie vote. She was a kick ass female character, who didn't mind staying and hiding, but also had the guts to go out and do something about her zombie problem.
I was hoping when I started it that it would have a lot more bookish jokes, since she is a bookstore worker, but nonetheless I enjoyed her character.

I liked it. The ending ended fast and left me hanging bit the reality is, that would happen in the zombie apocalypse. Wanted to also say that there was a lot of stuff I found hokey and very unrealistic that Allison could super hero do but I didn't care. Its a zombie book. Reality doesn't have to be so specific.
