Honestly, I had no idea what I might be getting into when I picked this book up. Although super heroes and zombies mixed well in the Marvel Zombies graphic novels, I had no idea how it might translate into other literature. I must say that it mixed nicely.

Comic book style super heroes defend a Hollywood studio fortress from hordes of undead and occasional undead superheroes (titular ex-heroes). Good fun. Cleanly written fight and battle scenes. A wiki of super heroes, powers and allegiances would be helpful. Worth the time.

EX-HEROES is one great, fast-paced read! If you dig reading about an apocalypse atmosphere filled with zombies, tossing in a few superheroes, I urge you to give this one a read! I really enjoyed how Mr. Clines wrote and crafted this book. Now I'm ready to read EX-PATRIOTS!
