Hands down one of the best books I've read this year so far. The writing is fast paced - the story starts with our heroine being kidnapped by our hero and taking her out into the forested boonies to escape the end of the world.
Rereading that sentence - sounds corny. The book is anything but. The action is fast paced and worthy of any good apocalyspe story - zombie fiction, end of the world, with a Terminator-style hero who waits and comes back for the woman he knows he needs to rescue. John Mas ...more

1/2 of this author team is Ava Gray/Ann Aguirre. I have yet to read anything by her that I didn't like. This UF/romance is a terrific first entry in a planned trilogy.
