As another reviewer said, I am frankly embarrassed to have not read Ms. Butler until now. I picked up and ran through this book, and immediately added all other titles by this author. She is a fantastically creative writer with unique perspectives (her book Bloodline has the most creative short stories I've seen in at least a year, and was actually even better than this one) who can write both the exotic/fantastic and the mundane right by each other.
