This is a great story, about a young man who gets a part-time job in a bookstore that changes his life. At first he thinks the clientele are a little strange and eventually decides to use high tech ways to discover what this old fashioned bookstore is all about. A great story about an old bookstore in San Francisco that has its secrets. Mr.Penumbra's bookstore, as the title implies, is open 24 hours, and the story begins when he hires Clay, an out of work web designer. Some of the people who visit the bookstore during the night are a bit odd, and they borrow some very unusual books, instead of buying them. Clay can't figure out how the bookstore stays open.
