I really liked it - it's the story of two women, one who is a slave and one who is leading a privileged life and whose family owns slaves. A complex story about many women living in the same household, but from very different ranks in society. It grapples with the heartache and trauma slavery caused in the families of slaves and "owners" alike. ...more
