Another Dan Brown fast-paced thriller takes the reader through Rome, Florence, Venice, and Constantinople in something like 24 hours. Robert Langdon, a Harvard professor of symbology, is on the run, having suffered amnesia of the last few days. Formulaic, tedious breaks in convoluted action with tmi on art, architecture, Dante's Inferno, etc. The info shared on these topics felt more like filler rather than integral to the plot. I loved Davinci Code, but this didn't hold a candle to that book. So glad to be done! So many other good books out there.
