I am a big Joanna Brady series fan. I have read or listened every book the Ms. Jance has written in this series. I found DESERT HEAT not long after I became a widow, and Joanna had become a widow in DESERT HEAT, so she and I have grown together as people through that time.

Once again, J.A. Jance combines two different series and has J.P. Beaumont interacting with Sheriff Joanna Brady through converging investigations that alternate between the cold wet environment of the state of Washington and the searing desert of Arizona. The Joanna Brady murder-mystery series is awesome ... love it that they solve a murder in every book, some light twists and turns that aren't too predictable, but makes the reading enjoyable.
