great follow up to theft of swords really pulls you in
This is a two book volume, Nyphron Rising read like an espionage at some points. The second volume, The Emerald Storm also reads like a spy-thriller. Half of the latter book takes place at sea and the detail of sea voyage Sullivan wrote is impressive. I enjoyed reading both books in the volume and I look forward to reading edition of The Riyria Revelations.
It's better than the first (two), and remains fun through to the end. I really enjoy Royce and Hadrian's friendship, banter, teamwork, etc. Interesting new characters and fun locations. If you liked the first volume Theft of Swords, you should dig this too.

Giving up with this book for now, after struggling with it for almost six months. Hope to return to it at some point.
