I absolutely loved the first 100 pages of this book and the last 100 pages, they were fantastic. The whole middle of this book was so boring. I did love the fact that Sayuri did get to get to be with the Chairman in the end. I wish I could have loved this book more than I did, but the middle of the book was so uninteresting to me and I really only finished it so that I would know what I was talking about when we review it at book club next month.
