I have no idea how many books I've read on this subject, maybe 100? No matter how many I read I can not wrap my head around the reality that this holocaust really happened. How could someone witness the murder of a fellow human being and only be concerned about the fact that they are now going to have to show up at an important meeting with blood drops on his suit?

Cleverly constructed page turner involving a fictional French architect during the second World War who undertakes a journey towards re-awakening his conscience when a wealthy fellow Parisian starts paying him to design hiding places for fugitive Jews within Paris apartments.
