What Members Thought
Mind blown! I knew this novel was based on Frank Lloyd Wright, but I did not know it was based on an actual love affair of his. I also did NOT expect the ending. Sometimes truth IS stranger than fiction!
Why 3 stars instead of 5? Well, a few sections felt slow to me and for the entire book I was troubled by the situation between Mamah and her children. Not the authors fault (again, based on a real relationship), but it was still something I struggled deeply with.
