The world of Magick goes unnoticed by most. Mortals are ignorant to the supernatural entities that walk among them everyday. They are there, in the shadows of human culture, masquerading as mundanes. They call themselves the Purgatorians; wandering souls, lost to their own longings and desires. Mankind whispered of their existence, but most are unaware that members of their own community possessed abilities that exceed mortal comprehension.

In the small town of Blackbridge, there are strange and unexplained happenings. From the outside, this looks like just another boring, rural town; but it is much more than that. Horrible things lurk in the shadows, something vile hides behind every corner. Missing persons are reported practically every day - people just keep disappearing. Strange noises coming from the woods and odd lights dance over the ocean. Bodies turn up mutilated and in pieces. Something is out there, awaiting you in the darkness.
