However, that’s not to say everyone follows the lifestyle set by the Royal Family. Here in the Spirit Kingdom, even with humans and benders coming together, some still believe one shouldn’t mix with the other. Families will go out of their way to stop love, friendship, or families from forming with the opposite kind. Some families, on the other hand, don’t care about benders nor humans but care about the power of what they become. If not chosen by the child, they would go as far as forcing them into becoming archivists for status, even if it means cutting their ties from ordinary life. People like to believe that their life is within their own hands. That they could love who they want and be what they want, just like The Royal Family tells them. But that’s not always the case.
